Who doesn’t love a warm cup of Mexican hot chocolate just like your abuela (grandmother) used to make? Thanks to Alejo Sanchez, an Owner of Taco Mix Restaurant in New York City, we were able to provide this comforting treat to the NYC Police Department’s 7th Precinct. The delivery was made to thank Essential Workers for their everyday commitment to the greater good, but especially during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The Lower East Side’s Taco Mix donated the handmade drinks and partnered with Shades of Commerce to deliver them on the morning of April 13, 2020.
